FESTIVAL
Improfestival Salento is the international Improv and Performing Arts festival, taking place in the wonderful town of Gallipoli (south of Italy). It’s organized by the patronage of Improteatro Professional National Association, and a network of International Improvisation Groups coming from all over Europe.
The rich program of the festival each year includes several residential days, intensive theatrical workshops, site specific performances, beautiful evenings of fun and many activities to explore Gallipoli and Salento.

TEAM
The organization of the Salento Improfestival is carried out by Improvvisart, which is made of 50% Alessandra Villa (President) and 50% Fabio Musci (Artistic Director), who both found the cooperative in 2008. Alessandra started organizing events during university and she fell in love with Improv as soon as she met it.
FUN
During the Festival, after your training, you will have time to relax on the white Salento beaches or swimming in the fresh and crystal clear sea, just steps away from the Village where you’ll stay. If you want, you can sign in for the activities to explore Gallipoli and Salento, such as the boat trip from Santa Maria di Leuca, with drinks and good music until the sunset.
WORKSHOP
Improfestival Salento provides funny relaxing moments and intensive theatrical workshops. In the last ten editions, we hosted so many national and international teachers that worked on performative arts, improv, singing and using the voice on stage, the body and contact improvisation, relationships and emotions, with a constant inspiration from the surrounding location and the sea.
