WOW! BUT HOW DOES IT WORK?
Improfestival Salento is the Festival that combines training, relaxation and fun in the splendid Gallipoli (Lecce), one of the most beautiful Italian holiday locations.
Each partecipant will work with two teachers, attending a 9-hour workshop (based on their year of experience) + a 3-hour mini transversal workshop open to all, by choice, subject to availability, staying in a village with a private beach, to have fun and party by the Salento sea.

COSTS AND PACKAGES
Registration for the festival is personal; all packages include training (9-hour workshop + 3-hour mini workshop), gadgets, welcome aperitif, pullman to and from the laboratory classrooms, show by the festival teachers, final dinner and the relative cost differs depending on the place bed selected in one of the following accommodation types:

Since there are a limited number of places and related types of accommodation available in the village, the organization (following the chronological order of registration) will try to satisfy the preferences indicated, in relation to the availability present at the time of registration itself.
Anyone who registers for the Festival alone will have accommodation shared with other participants assigned by the organisation, even in mixed accommodation.
To be part of the Improfestival Salento it is not possible to book accommodation independently.

* For those who reside in the province of Lecce and who intend to participate in the Festival with the "Stage Only" typology, the places available for each individual workshop are limited to a maximum number of 4.
It is possible to be accompanied by a guest and/or participate in the Festival in "holiday only" mode by contacting the organization directly.

REGISTRATION AND DEPOSIT
Registrations will open on Monday 11 March at 10:00.
To register you need to go to the website www.improfestival.it, fill out the form on the "register" page and make a bank transfer of €100 to:

After making the bank transfer, it is essential to communicate the CRO to the email address This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. within the following 48 hours, otherwise the registration will be considered null and void.
Registrations will be considered valid only by completing the Google form and paying the deposit.
(It is not permitted to send a copy of the bank transfer BEFORE the official opening of registrations).

ATTENTION: spots are limited and it is possible to register until they are filled.

Once you have registered, you will receive an automatic email notifying you that your request has been processed.
Before the start of the Festival, those registered will receive an email confirming their participation, with all the relevant specifications.
In case of sold out places for the workshop or for the chosen accommodation, the organization will send an informative email with the artistic and rental alternative and the relative price.
In case of defection by the participant, the deposit will not be returned under any circumstances.

It is not possible to stay for a shorter period than that proposed in the program.
The loss of scheduled activities following late arrival or early departure does not give the right to a refund.

The prices indicated include dinner and the final party on Saturday 22 June.
Lunch on Sunday 23 June is optional and not included in the indicated price.
Any food intolerances must be reported to the organization in the registration form.
Prices do not include other food and drinks.

The accommodations will be available starting from 4.00pm on June 20th and must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure, Sunday 23rd June (in case any of the members wish to stay a few more days to enjoy the wonders of Salento, it is necessary to contact the organization of the Improfestival Salento as soon as possible to check availability and receive any confirmation and costs).

THE MEETING POINT FOR THE START OF ALL ACTIVITIES IS THE IMPRO POINT LOCATED IN THE BAR AREA OF THE CAMPING LA VECCHIA TORRE

CAMPING THE OLD TOWER
Camping La Vecchia Torre is a place to stop and return. Born in 1967 from an intuition of the engineer Niccolò Coppola, its strong point is fifty years of experience in the field of tourist hospitality. The direct location on the sea makes the structure unique, offering the possibility of using the beach reserved for guests of the structure, just a few steps away from any location or accommodation. About 3 km away is the center of Gallipoli, lying on the sea, with its strength and its grace, with the beauty written in its name, with its ancient Greek Fountain, its Churches-Art Galleries, its austere Castle , its Baroque Palaces, the mysterious tangle of its streets, the friendliness of its people, the liveliness of its beaches and its nightlife.

ACCOMMODATION
All accommodations consist of a kitchenette equipped with crockery (excluding the coffee maker), fridge, bathroom, bedroom(s) with bed linen and covered outdoor veranda with table and chairs, shaded terrace. Set of bath sponges available on request at an additional cost.
Studio apartment for 2 people: it is composed of a single room with double bed and kitchenette.
2-person bungalow: consists of a double bedroom plus a room with bathroom and kitchenette
Bungalow for 3 people: consists of a double bedroom plus a single bed in the kitchen area
Bungalow for 4 people: consists of a bedroom with a double bed and another with 2 single beds with kitchenette.
Bungalow for 5 people: it is composed of a bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed in the kitchen area.

SERVICES INCLUDED
All consumption, final cleaning, parking space and the beach are included, which is free, not equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds, but reserved for camping. It is possible to rent beach loungers on site at the bazaar (limited number of loungers).
A coin-operated laundry and drying service is available 24 hours a day.
The campsite gives directly onto the beach, located inside, free and not equipped.
To reach the city of Gallipoli there is a private paid shuttle service, not managed by the Camping and it will be possible to make arrangements directly with whoever will provide the service.
Car/motorcycle parking is free exclusively for Festival members.

SERVICES EXCLUDED
The first supply of bed linen is provided for each home, while bathroom and kitchen linen are not present.
It is possible to request a change of bed linen and towels with the following supplements:
€13 for changing double sheets
€10 for changing single sheets
€5 for the bathroom set
Inside the campsite there is a self-service/pizzeria with special menus for Festival participants, a bazaar-newsstand, a minimarket - fruit and vegetables, two bars. Furthermore, it is possible to take advantage of the rental service of vehicles such as bicycles and motorbikes.

CHECK IN Thursday 20 June from 4.00pm / CHECK OUT Sunday 23 June from 8.00am to 10.00am
During the reception of those registered for the Festival at the Impropoint in the bar area of Camping La Vecchia Torre, there will be the assignment of accommodation, gadgets and the detailed program.

IMPRO APERITIF
On Thursday 20 June at 7.30pm it will be possible to taste the welcome aperitif, during which the complete program with all the activities will be officially presented and you will be able to meet the relevant teachers.

WORKSHOP + MINI WORKSHOP
The festival offers the possibility of choosing a package lasting a total of 12 hours of training, which includes a 9-hour workshop, chosen based on one's year of experience + 1 transversal mini workshop of 3 hours open to all, which will all take place simultaneously.
The workshops will be on Thursday 20th from 4pm to 7pm, Friday 21st from 10.30am to 1.30pm and from 3pm to 6pm; the mini workshop will be on Saturday 22 June from 10.30am to 1.30pm.
There are no end-of-workshop performances.
Included in the cost is a return bus service to the rooms, located in the city of Gallipoli, reserved for participants who will be staying in the Village.

GADGETS
Each member will receive the official Festival gadget upon arrival.

EVENING SHOW
The evening show of Theatrical Improvisation will be held on Friday 21 June with the teachers present at the Festival.
Further information will be available at the presentation of the program on site.

BOAT TRIP (Optional)
On Saturday 22 June, in the early afternoon, the unmissable boat trip (optional) is scheduled, with aperitif and music on board, in the splendid coves of the Salento sea to watch the sunset all together. The cost of participation is €30. Confirmation of the meeting, departure and return times will be communicated during the welcome aperitif.

FINAL DINNER + PARTY
On the evening of Saturday 22 June, to conclude the experience lived together in a grand way, dinner and the final party are planned for everyone until late at night.

THAT'S ALL?
“But how, that's all? And what do I do the other evenings?” If you are really allergic to relaxation and want to have fun, Salento is the one for you! Every evening in the vicinity of Gallipoli there are many opportunities for entertainment including village festivals and pizzica evenings.

KISSES AND HUGS
All good things come to an end but, for those who are not resigned to the end of the Festival and want to spend some more carefree moments together, on Sunday 23 June, they can participate in the farewell lunch organized in a typical restaurant in Gallipoli. Participation is optional and the cost is €35.
